Job role: HGV Mechanic / Supervisor
Location: Heathrow
Money: £50,000 +
Hours: 8am to 6pm – Monday to Friday 

My client, a large HGV Dealership, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Mechanic / Supervisor. This would make a great role for an experienced HGV Mechanic looking for the next step up in their career.  

Daily Duties:
Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs to industry standards.
Supervise and support workshop technicians, ensuring high-quality work.
Allocate daily tasks and manage workflow to meet deadlines.
Conduct inspections, safety checks, and ensure compliance with DVSA regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and report vehicle defects.
Liaise with management and customers regarding repairs, progress, and priorities.
Ensure workshop health & safety procedures are followed at all times.

Essential attributes for this role:
NVQ / City & Guilds Level Three Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Engineering or equivalent.
You MUST have extensive experience in a heavy vehicle engineering environment, either PSV, Dealership or Fleet.
You MUST have a full UK driving licence and a PSV or HGV licence would be a huge benefit.
