Are you confident, enthusiastic, and comfortable communicating directly with clients over email?

About the Client

Our client is a media and advertising company that helps brands plan and deliver programmatic advertising campaigns with a focus on quality.

They are seeking a current or recent graduate to join them for a short 6-week fixed-term contract. Ideally, you will be immediately available.

This role will offer you a great chance to gain exposure to life inside a Media Agency.

No prior experience is required, but you do need to be a strong, confident communicator

How you expect the candidate to spend their day:

This person will work closely with our Client Success (CS) team, primarily supporting clients over email to help set up and manage programmatic advertising campaigns. This includes sourcing assets and creative from clients, and working with our Trading team to get campaigns live. They're covering for a team member who is on extended leave, so day-to-day they'll be helping keep client communications running smoothly. Any downtime will be spent on key projects across the business, although this isn’t guaranteed.

The ideal candidate's personality and qualifications:

No prior experience is required. We're looking for someone confident, enthusiastic, and comfortable communicating directly with clients over email. They should be organised, quick to pick things up, and happy working as part of a close knit team, since there won't be a long handover period. Efficiency across all major platforms ie Google, Microsoft etc and adept with AI would be a real bonus. This role is client facing so would need someone comfortable with that but often aspiring marketers enjoy a stint within CS. We are looking to hire a freelancer at the moment to run our socials so there may be other opportunities within with the Company when the contract comes to an end.

What are the perks of working at this company?

Best company ever obvs! We’re a small start up, very ambitious and we hire great people. This means that even over a short period, you will gain access to working with bright talented people across a range of internal departments. The CS team typically work with large media agencies, on campaigns with household brands so further great exposure from a B2B perspective.

Questions for applicants to think about:

  • You'll be talking to clients you've never met, mostly over email, from day 1. How do you build trust with someone quickly when you can't rely on an existing relationship?
  • Why does a short, fast-paced contract like this one appeal to you?
  • This is a short contract with a real end date. What would make you say "that was worth it" when you look back on it in 6 weeks?
  • What's something you've picked up quickly in the past with little or no formal training - and how did you go about learning it?
  • Most communication here happens in writing. What do you pay attention to when writing to someone you don't know, to make sure the tone lands right?
  • What's a piece of feedback you've been given that changed how you work?
