About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Help & Protection team in Amersham, Buckinghamshire. The position offers a competitive rate of £38 per hour on an umbrella basis, allowing you to maximize your earnings while contributing to the safety and well-being of the community.
As a Qualified Social Worker in our Help & Protection team, you will be responsible for:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to safeguard children.
Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and reports.
Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
Current registration with Social Work England.
Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
