About the Role

Summary

We’re supporting a growing organisation within the healthcare technology intelligence sector as they look to appoint a Research Operations Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in market analysis, market research or market intelligence who enjoys the operational and project management side of research delivery.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of research across multiple products, helping to build scalable processes as the business transitions towards a subscription-based research model. You’ll also lead and develop a small team of analysts while ensuring research outputs are delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard.

In this position, you will play a central role in coordinating research delivery across multiple products while helping to build scalable processes as the organisation transitions towards a subscription-based research model. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee the delivery of research across multiple products and services
  • Manage and develop a team of 4–5 analysts / specialists
  • Coordinate research activities including primary research, secondary research, analysis, modelling and reporting
  • Manage timelines, project delivery and research workflows across multiple workstreams
  • Develop and improve operational processes to support scalable research delivery
  • Support the transition from project-based research to repeatable subscription insight services
  • Manage research tools, databases and operational systems
  • Track delivery metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure research insights are delivered effectively

Experience and qualities that make you a strong fit

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the research process alongside experience coordinating projects, improving processes and supporting teams in a fast-paced research environment. You may have experience in areas such as:

  • Experience within market research, market intelligence, consulting or analyst environments
  • Strong understanding of the research lifecycle, including both primary and secondary research
  • Experience working with market analysis, forecasting, modelling, reporting or data visualisation
  • Proven ability to manage multiple research projects or operational workflows
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive mindset with an interest in improving processes and scaling operations
