Job Description:

Saint George School is seeking a passionate, organized, and faith-filled self-contained Fourth Grade Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, embraces the mission of Catholic education, and creates an engaging classroom where every child is encouraged to grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Candidates should possess strong communication and classroom management skills, enjoy collaborating with colleagues, and demonstrate a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities would Include:

• Integrate Catholic teachings and Gospel values into daily instruction while fostering a Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across all core subject areas aligned with Archdiocesan curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse academic needs of students.
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to guide instruction and support student growth.
• Establish a positive, structured classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and a love of learning.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
• Build strong partnerships with parents through consistent, positive communication.
• Collaborate with faculty and administration to support school initiatives and student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, liturgies, and other school events.
• Fulfill assigned supervisory responsibilities and other duties as needed.
• Participate fully in the life of the school community.
