<p><strong>Civil Litigation Lawyer needed in Manchester Paying  £25.85 per hr ref 000 2D08 / 1</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong>  </p> <p><em>Key Responsibilities</em></p> <ul> <li>Manage a caseload of housing disrepair claims, including pre-action and litigated matters.</li> <li>Provide clear, practical, and timely legal advice to clients.</li> <li>Draft pleadings, witness statements, notices, and other legal documentation.</li> <li>Conduct negotiations and seek effective resolutions through settlement where appropriate.</li> <li>Represent clients at hearings, case management conferences, and other court proceedings.</li> <li>Instruct and liaise with counsel, experts, surveyors, and other third parties as required.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with Civil Procedure Rules, relevant legislation, and internal policies.</li> <li>Maintain accurate case records and meet performance and service standards.</li> <li>Support colleagues and contribute to the continuous improvement of the legal service.</li> </ul> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
