Responsibilities in your new role as Production Butcher

As our Production Butcher, you will be at the heart of operations, expertly preparing and processing a diverse range of meat products, ensuring every item consistently meets our stringent company standards and specifications. You'll uphold the highest levels of quality and safety throughout the entire production process, ensuring your work area remains impeccably clean and organised in strict adherence to all food safety regulations. Your role will also involve assisting with inventory management, accurately recording stock levels and implementing effective rotation. Upholding all health and safety guidelines is paramount to ensure a secure environment for yourself and your colleagues, all while collaborating seamlessly with your team to achieve production targets efficiently and effectively.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

We're looking for someone with experience in food production or culinary environments, ideally with strong butchery skills. A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene is essential, along with practical mean preparation experience. Previous hospitality or kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential, we value hands on ability. 

You should be adept at operating specialised butchery tools and equipment safely and effectively, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork are crucial, alongside proficiency in English.
