<p><strong>Hours:</strong><br />
Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break, Friday 08:00 – 13:00</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong><br />
Highly competitive DOE + monthly bonuses </p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter/Operator</strong></p>
<p>To set and operate CNC machines to produce components efficiently and to the required quality standards.</p>
<ul>
<li>Set CNC machines to produce components efficiently and to the required quality</li>
<li>Obtain Quality Control authorisation on the first off components</li>
<li>Check all components are machined from the correct material</li>
<li>Ensure all components are processed in accordance with the production layout, raising any discrepancies or required amendments with supervision</li>
<li>Ensure all components are machined to drawing dimensions and tolerances</li>
<li>Ensure all processes are performed efficiently and within set cycle times</li>
<li>Comply with the company’s Quality Control procedures at all times</li>
<li>Comply with the company’s Health and Safety policy at all times</li>
<li>Recommend improvements to methods or processes to enhance quality or efficiency</li>
<li>Maintain work area and machinery in a clean, tidy and organised condition</li>
<li>Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Skills of a CNC Setter/Operator</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience setting and operating CNC machinery</li>
<li>Ability to read and work from engineering drawings</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and quality standards</li>
<li>Good understanding of manufacturing processes and materials</li>
<li>Ability to work efficiently and meet production targets</li>
<li>Awareness of health and safety practices within a machine shop environment</li>
<li>Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement</li>
</ul>
