As a Senior AI & LLM Security Engineer, you will be working for our client, a pioneering leader in the AI industry committed to safeguarding the next generation of intelligent systems. Your expertise will help secure AI applications, including LLM-powered tools, AI agents, and their infrastructure, ensuring responsible and safe deployment at scale. Your main responsibilities:
Partner with engineering and platform teams to define and implement robust security for AI and LLM-based systems.
Conduct threat modeling, architecture reviews, and security assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Design and deploy security controls for AI applications, data flows, and model integrations.
Define secure patterns for access control, secrets management, logging, monitoring, and safe execution.
Address security risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, excessive permissions, and dependencies on third-party AI services.
Contribute to developing reusable security patterns, guidance, and guardrails for AI system development.
Support security testing, vendor assessments, and incident response related to AI-enabled solutions.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering or security within complex environments.
Strong knowledge of security controls across applications, infrastructure, and platforms.
Proven expertise in threat modeling, secure design review, and secure software development practices.
Familiarity with authentication, authorization, secrets management, and observability practices.
Experience reviewing third-party platforms, SaaS services, APIs, or open-source components from a security perspective.
Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced engineering teams with a practical, problem-solving approach.
Interest in AI systems, especially related to security issues involving LLMs, agents, and data workflows.
It is a strong plus if you have:
Certifications in security or cloud architecture.
Experience working with AI/ML systems beyond security considerations.
Knowledge of incident response or vendor security assessments.
Language Required for the role:
Fluent English (spoken and written).
