Warszawa-based opportunity with hybrid work model (4 days remote/week). As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be working for our client, a major player in the online banking sector delivering advanced corporate banking solutions. You will support the development of process-driven systems built on a modern workflow platform, focusing on designing and optimizing business processes and integrations. The project involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, leading analytical activities, and acting as a proxy product owner to ensure that requirements are accurately translated into scalable technical solutions. Your contribution will drive digital transformation and elevate banking experiences. Your main responsibilities: Gather and analyze business and system requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Lead business workshops and facilitate requirement elicitation sessions Design and document business processes using BPMN and workflow tools Prepare functional and non-functional specifications for new features Create detailed specifications for system integrations and APIs including REST and SOAP Model data structures and define system interaction scenarios Collaborate with development and testing teams throughout delivery Support product decisions by acting as a proxy product owner Review and refine documentation to ensure consistency and quality You're ideal for this role if you have: Knowledge of requirements engineering methodologies and preparation of functional and quality specifications for IT systems At least 5 years of experience in IT projects within the banking or financial sector Practical experience in specifying business processes, functional requirements, quality requirements, data models, and system integrations Experience in process modeling using BPMN or similar standards Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong communication skills and experience facilitating workshops Experience preparing API and integration specifications including REST and SOAP Communicative English skills Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL It is a strong plus if you have: (optional) Knowledge of Polish language Certifications related to BPMN, requirements engineering, or systems analysis Language Required for the role: Polish (communicative level) English (good command) Eligibility for the role: Only candidates with an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
