<p>GVC are delighted to be assisting a leading independent veterinary group in the recruitment of a <strong>Veterinary Surgeon</strong> for their modern, purpose-built small animal hospital. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced vet who’s passionate about gold-standard care, teamwork, and professional growth.</p>

<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<p>This role offers a great balance of consulting and surgery within a supportive, forward-thinking environment. The successful candidate will enjoy a <strong>varied caseload</strong> with the opportunity to develop interests in diagnostics, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.</p>
<p>With protected administrative time built into the working day and a set day off each week, this is a role designed with work-life balance in mind. Full-time vets typically work 4 days per week, on 9-hour shifts between 8am–8pm, with 1-in-4 weekends and no on-call requirements.</p>
<p>You’ll join a skilled, friendly team of 6 Vets and 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, supported by experienced reception and admin staff. Together, they provide exceptional care across general practice, internal medicine, and surgery.</p>

<p>Dental X-ray, digital radiography, ultrasound, and orthopaedic capabilities</p>

<p>The practice operates extended hours, offering convenience to clients while maintaining a supportive rota for staff.</p>

<h3><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></h3>

<p>Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience, including at least one year in the UK</p>

<p>Excellent communication and case management skills</p>
