Design Technology Teacher

GSL Education are excited to recruit a skilled and enthusiastic Design Technology Teacher to support schools across the DN2 and DN6 areas of Doncaster. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ design thinking, technical knowledge, and hands-on skills across a range of materials and processes. Responsibilities of Design Technology Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons in line with the curriculum. Teach practical workshop skills safely and effectively. Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress. Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment. Requirements for Design Technology Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification. Experience working as a Design Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom and workshop management skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
