Beyond aesthetics, you’ll create incredible workspaces that actually work.</p><p>Based in Bath, our creative crew work on a range of commercial design and build projects, from bespoke office fit-outs to multi-million pound building refurbishments.</p><p><br></p><p>As a Junior Designer at Interaction you'll be exposed to a wide variety of design activities within the office design and build industry. Layouts, finishes, research, site visits, presentations, pitches & drawing packages - you'll be involved in it all!<br></p><p>We’re looking for people who can enthusiastically and passionately communicate design concepts.</p><p>If you’re relentlessly curious – and creative of course! – then we want to hear from you.<br><strong><em><br></em></strong></p><p><strong>THE APPLICATION</strong></p><p>We appreciate that you won't have a fully developed portfolio yet, so this application is interview & project based. Please submit your portfolio and a cover letter, alongside any relevant workspace (office) specific experience or project work you have completed. </p><p>We will invite the shortlisted candidates in to our office, where you will be provided with a brief, blank layouts and materials to pull together a small project, which you will then present both your mini-project & your portfolio. We will ensure the environment is supportive and comfortable during the interview process, as we want to see your most creative & relaxed selves. </p><p><br><strong>Desired attributes and skills:</strong></p><p>• Effective communication skills.<br>• Good presentation skills, visual and spoken.<br>• Positive attitude.<br>• Enthusiasm and passion.<br>• Creative<br>• Relentlessly curious and have a desire to learn & progress.<br>• Honestly & self awareness – able to own up to your mistakes.</p><p><strong>Minimum Requirement</strong><br>• A degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent.<br>• At least 2 years in industry, with at least 1 year in workplace specific design. <br></p><p><strong>Advantageous</strong>: knowledge and experience using various software packages including AutoCAD, Revit, Office 365, Sketchup, Enscape and Adobe suite. <strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Junior Salary: </strong>£30k - £34k (subject to experience)</p><p><em><br></em></p><p><em>Interaction nurtures diversity through inclusive practices.
