Job Title: Social Work Education Development Officer (ASYE Coordinator) Location: Adult Social Care Pay Rate: £30.42 per hour Working Pattern: Full Time or Part Time
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for a Social Work Education Development Officer to support Adult Social Care services. This role is ideal for a qualified Social Worker with Stage 2 Practice Educator (PEPs) qualification who can take on responsibilities as an ASYE Coordinator and support the development of social work education and professional practice.
Job PurposeTo work in conjunction with partner agencies to support the ongoing development of social work education and practice across Adult Social Care, in line with national, regional, and local requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support projects relating to learning and development services across Adult Social Care
Design, deliver, evaluate, and quality assure training and development programmes
Carry out training needs analysis and training audits
Provide professional learning and development initiatives and advice on training opportunities
Support individuals on learning programmes through mentoring and coaching
Lead on the development of accreditation services and statutory training programmes
Act as the lead officer for learning and development activity, coordinating and delivering social work education
Promote continuous improvement in social work education and professional development
Work with senior managers to ensure sufficient practice education capacity to meet national and local demands
Represent the Workforce Development Team at regional and national forums, including university programme boards
Lead projects arising from local, regional, and national initiatives impacting social work education
Support systems to assist social workers through initial qualification, ASYE, early professional development, and progression to advanced practitioner level
Monitor and assess social work student placements, ensuring required standards are met
Produce reports and statistical information to support performance monitoring
Essential RequirementsQualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration
Stage 2 Practice Educator (PEPs) qualification
Experience supporting ASYE programmes or newly qualified social workers
Strong understanding of social work education, workforce development, and professional standards
Experience delivering training, mentoring, or coaching within social care settings
