<p><b>Trainee Laser Operator</b></p>

<p><b>Salary:</b></p>

<li>£28,000.00 per annum during training</li>

<p>Our client has an excellent opportunity to join a manufacturing company with over 34 years’ experience in a specialised manufacturing process who produce precision engineered products to a wide range of print industries. Thay are proud to be part of an International Group with over 500 employees across 10 international sites, specialising in high-precision engineering, coatings, inks, and advanced manufacturing solutions.</p>
<p>Due to continued growth, they are looking for a motivated, detail-driven individual to join a highly successful team.</p>
<p><b>Who They’re Looking For</b></p>
<p>The candidate will be trained to become a fully skilled Laser Machine Operator, and the role requires experience of preferably mechanical or electrical engineering.</p>
<p>This role would be suited to a CNC Operator however this is not an essential prerequisite for this job.</p>
<p>This is a technical role requiring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.</p>
<p><b>The Role</b></p>
<p>Duties will include the setting and laser engraving of precision printing rollers, working to high tolerances and in accordance with specific job specifications, per each customer.</p>
<p><b>Initial Training Hours</b></p>
<p>Monday to Thursday, 08:00 – 16:00 and Friday, 08:00 – 15:30, with a 30-minute lunch break.</p>
<p><b>Fully Trained Hours</b></p>
<p>Once fully trained and qualified for the position the candidate will be required to work a shift rotation system, comprising of the following three shifts:</p>
<ul>
<li>6am – 2pm (Morning Shift)</li>
<li>8am – 4pm (Standard Day Shift)</li>
<li>2pm – 10pm (Evening Shift)</li>
</ul>
<p>* Shift Allowance applicable at £14 per day, paid continuously and during annual leave.</p>

<p><b>What's On Offer</b></p>
<p>Our client offers 22 days holiday per year which will increase after 5 years to 23 days and thereafter every 2 years, an extra day will be given up to the limit of 27 days.</p>
<p>The basic salary during training is £28,000.00 per annum, which will increase to £30,000.00 per annum after successfully completing the training period of approximately six months.</p>
