Normal 0 false false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE We are seeking a Locums Oncology Physician Assistant to provide coverage at a free-standing cancer center in Greenville, SC. This role includes a mix of outpatient oncology care and inpatient rounding, supporting adult and geriatric patients in a collaborative oncology setting. Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Call Schedule: Tuesday: 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM Friday: 4:30 PM – Monday 8:00 AM Includes onsite inpatient rounding Saturday & Sunday Call Rotation: 1 in every 5–6 weeks Practice Setting Free-standing cancer center (outpatient + inpatient coverage) Patient Population: Adult & Geriatric Case Mix: 65% Benign Hematology 35% Malignant Oncology EMR: Epic Patient Volume Outpatient: ~15 patients per day Inpatient (call/rounding): ~20 patients per day Clinical Responsibilities Manage oncology and hematology patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings Assist with bone marrow transplant management and blood bank coordination Order and interpret labs and imaging Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans Participate in inpatient rounding during call periods Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Requirements Physician Assistant – Board Certified Experience in Hematology & Oncology required Active South Carolina license (or ability to obtain) BLS certification DEA license
