PRODUCTION / PACKERS

JOB ORDER - 57026

TMD Staffing is hiring for Packers / Production Workers / Sorters / Sanitation for a bakery manufacturer in San Antonio, TX.  The right candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing company and be familiar with the roles and tasks in the packaging department.  They will be dependable and reliable and be able to complete full shifts and schedule.  The candidate we select will be moving about to different roles getting ingredients, materials and products picked, packed, washed and ready for processing and shipping out. This job will demand that you be able to work in an environment where flour, baking powder and heat is involved.  PPE will be required on the production floor.  Bilingual - English/Spanish will be a great plus.   Hablamos Espanol. 

SCHEDULE:   

Monday to Friday, Several Shifts:  Flexibility required a must to end time if production needs to be completed.

PAY:   $14 / HR - Weekly compensation by electronic deposit

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Be knowledgeable and willing to learn the tasks for multiple roles within the packaging department

• Know and be able to assist with replacing plastic in Arpac machine

• Be able to assist with palletizing

• Be able to assist with plastic sealing machines

• Be able to stand throughout shift, unassisted

• Assist label operator with wiping lids or cleaning of jars and worktable

• Be able to work in front of a conveyor belt.  

• Monitor cases and packaging going into Arpac machine

• Be flexible and willing to move around to different roles to avoid fatigue

• Be able to work around heat, flour, noise

REQUIREMENTS:

• Be able to pass a drug screen

• Have pass and have a decent background check

• Be able to wear proper PPE, (safety glasses, gloves, hair and foot bonnets)

• Be legal to work in USA

• Have reliable transportation

• Must be able to work 8 to 10 hours shift
