Career and Workforce Training
Adult Education Career Services are offered to all students enrolled in the Atlanta Public Schools Adult Program.
These services include:
- Orientation
- Underage preparation workshops for 16 &17 year olds
- Classroom workshops that include:
- Resume’ Writing
- Dress for Success
- Interview Skills
- Financial Aid
- Small group sessions for Post-Secondary Education and/or Workforce Preparation
- Individual Counseling
- College Tours
- Career Fair Participation
- Follow-up Assistance for High School Equivalency (GED & HiSET) and ESL graduates
- Referral to:
- Community Agencies
- High School Equivalency (GED & HiSET) Testing
- Post-secondary Institutions
- Hiring Employers and Employment Agencies
- Augusta Technical College Counseling Center
