<p><strong>Counterbalance Forklift Driver 6734</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong><br /> Tewkesbury</p> <p><strong>Hours:</strong><br /> Minimum 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 (shift rota)</p> <ul> <li>Weekday start times: 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00</li> <li>Saturday start times: 04:00, 05:00, 06:00, 07:00</li> <li>Shifts vary based on production needs (not a fixed early/late rotation).</li> <li>Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Salary:</strong><br /> Starting at &pound;13.17 per hour, rising to &pound;13.53 with training</p> <hr /> <h3><strong>Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Operate a counterbalance FLT to safely load, unload, move and store goods across chilled warehouse and loading areas.</li> <li>Accurately pick and prepare customer orders using order tickets and instructions.</li> <li>Complete stock rotation and replenishment to maintain product flow and reduce waste.</li> <li>Support safe vehicle loading by checking orders are correct, secure and ready for transport.</li> <li>Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.</li> <li>Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures and report incidents promptly.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with warehouse, production and distribution teams to meet deadlines.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3><strong>Key Skills of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years).</li> <li>Previous FLT experience in a warehouse, distribution, FMCG, chilled or food production environment.</li> <li>Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.</li> <li>Reliable, flexible and able to commit to varying shift patterns.</li> <li>Confident communicator who can work independently and as part of a team.</li> <li>Desirable: PPT experience and dairy/FMCG background.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Application Details:</strong></h3> <p>To apply, please email your CV to <strong>zee.powell@first-base.co.uk</strong> or call <strong>Zee Powell</strong>&nbsp;on <strong>01453 755330</strong>.</p> <hr /> <h3><strong>Refer a Friend:</strong></h3> <p>Know someone suitable?
