<p>We are currently partnering with a rapidly growing, well-invested recycling and metals business to recruit a Non-Ferrous Site Manager for one of their key operational sites in the West Midlands.</p>

<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<p>This is a hands-on leadership position where you will take full ownership of the non-ferrous department, overseeing all operational, commercial, and people aspects of the yard.</p>
<p>You’ll be responsible for ensuring materials are processed efficiently, graded accurately, and dispatched in line with business and customer expectations-while maintaining high safety and environmental standards.</p>

<h3><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Oversee all non-ferrous operations including intake, sorting, processing, and dispatch</li>
<li>Accurately grade and value a wide range of materials including aluminium, copper, brass, stainless steel, cables, and alloys</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, supporting commercial negotiations</li>
<li>Manage stock levels, ensuring accuracy and efficient material flow</li>
<li>Lead, develop, and motivate a team of yard operatives</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with health & safety and environmental regulations</li>
</ul>

<h3><strong>About You</strong></h3>
<p>We’re looking for an experienced professional who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership capability:</p>
<ul>
<li>Proven background in non-ferrous metals within scrap, recycling, or processing environments</li>
<li>Strong understanding of grading standards and material value</li>
<li>Experience managing teams in a fast-paced operational setting</li>
<li>Confident decision-maker with a commercial mindset</li>
<li>Solid understanding of H&S and environmental compliance</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Desirable (not essential):</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience operating mobile plant (FLT, telehandler, material handler)</li>
<li>Knowledge of cable processing (stripping/granulation)</li>
<li>Familiarity with weighbridge or yard management systems</li>
