Class 1 HGV Driver

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified Class 1 HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road. Closing Date: November 28th 2025 Job Title: Class 1 HGV Drivers Location: Amesbury, SP4 7GQ Employment Type: Full Time Salary: £46,215.00 – £54,996.00 Nights (from 4pm to 4am start), paid weekly.   Closing Date:  31/10/2025 THE ROLE:  EV Cargo are looking for HGV Drivers to join our team on Days at our Customers depot in Amesbury working a 5 on 3 off Rota. Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified HGV driver, you will have the important role of delivering products to our customers whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road. Day and night shifts available     KEY RESPONSIBILITES:  Various HGV driving duties. General haulage duties. Trunking store deliveries Driving independently or alongside a banksman or rep. Excellent adherence to Health and Safety   OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:  Qualifications. Level 2 in English & Maths. HGV Licence. Experience. At least six months experience in Class 1 role. Scanning Experience. Computer/IT experience including apps and Windows products. Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written. Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team. People & Self Development.
