About the Role
<p>We’re seeking a <strong>Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)</strong> to join a friendly and close-knit team at a well-established small animal practice in <strong>Welwyn Garden City</strong>. This is a <strong>full-time, permanent position</strong> offering a great work-life balance, variety, and excellent clinical exposure.</p>
<p>The practice is a thriving 2-vet site supported by 2 RVNs, a VCA, and a CCA. You’ll assist with a wide range of cases including routine procedures, dentals, lump removals, and heart scans, using in-house x-ray, biochemistry, and haematology facilities. As an RVN, you’ll enjoy a varied role involving nurse consults, surgical assistance, patient care, and occasional reception and admin duties.</p>
<p>The standard rota is <strong>4 days per week (9.5-hour shifts)</strong>, plus participation in a <strong>1 in 6 weekend rota</strong> at the nearby 24-hour hospital in Enfield, alternating between early (07:40–16:00) and late (12:10–20:30) shifts.</p>
<p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive nurse who enjoys being part of a supportive team and playing a key role in delivering exceptional care to patients and clients alike.</p>
