<br />
<strong>Position Summary:</strong> <br />
Provide design, installation, testing and sustainment of the MCIOC communication nodes, automated systems, and associated equipment.<br />
<br />
<strong>Duties:</strong> <br />
Assist with the installation, testing and sustainment of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN-N), Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN-S), Open Source Information Systems (OSIS), Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communication System (JWICS), and any other networks MCIOC has connections to;<br />
Identify system problems due to system component connections and notify appropriate Network Owner for problem resolution;<br />
Sustain engineering support of network systems;<br />
Assist Government personnel with the installation design, new cabling, equipment, associated hardware and software to extend and enhance existing services;<br />
Establish new user accounts, configuration & support for laptops, and the configuration/adjustment/maintenance of commercial cell phone assets and remote email services, assist users with remote/VPN access;<br />
Arrange and coordinate with hardware maintenance personnel for the repair of Network IT equipment;<br />
Troubleshoot and assist with software and hardware problems for Domain Users;<br />
Assist in maintaining the Configuration Baseline for all Laptops and Workstations in the Command;<br />
Assist in maintenance and inventory of VoIP Phones, STE Phones, VTC’s, Printers, and Audio Visual Equipment;<br />
Test and document components for communications architectures;<br />
Assist Government personnel with administration of the network storage arrays and Email Archiving System;<br />
Support the Microsoft Systems Update Server (SUS) and Systems Management Server (SMS);<br />
Assist Government personnel with administration of the Command Storage Area Network Fiber Channel Routers and switches;<br />
Operate and maintain network management systems to include: primary and limited functional backup network operations centers and in-band/out-of-band network management systems;<br />
Assist Government personnel in the upkeep, organization and cleanliness of the Server Room and associated Network Closets within the Walt Hall facility;<br />
Assist Government personnel with engineering and design requirements for Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes to include Authority to Operate (ATO) development and security requirements;<br />
Assist Government personnel in updating section operating procedures, and;<br />
Assist Government personnel in escorting information technology and audiovisual professionals who visit the facility to perform S-6 related tasks.<br />
<br />
<strong>Qualifications:</strong><br />
Requires an Information Assurance Technician IAT Level II certification (in accordance with DoDD 8140), CompTIA Security+, and<br />
must hold the following Microsoft certifications: Exam MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) and Exam MD-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator).<br />
Must have post-high school education (some accredited college level education toward a degree) AND 3 years experience.<br />

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, operating year-round.<br />

This job operates in a professional office environment, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Limited travel may be required.<br />
