Lead Software Developer - Portsmouth

Lead Software Developer role based in Portsmouth, United Kingdom, with hybrid working and one day a week in the Portsmouth office.

This is a permanent opportunity to join a global SaaS technology organisation as a key member of the software development team, technically leading projects from design through to implementation.

The successful candidate will remain hands-on while also contributing to strategic technical conversations, bringing creative thinking and helping shape new SaaS products.

The role involves full stack development, technical leadership, designing and building systems, supporting large-scale SaaS platforms, working in mature CI/CD environments and following DevSecOps methodologies.

The successful candidate will bring strong experience across full stack development, with expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. Experience with NodeJS, Vue and SQL Server is also required.

This role would suit a high-performing Lead Developer who wants to work in a fast-growing SaaS business building new products, improving existing platforms and making use of AI.
