Senior Security Architect

On behalf of DWP, we are looking for a Lead Security Architect for a 12 months Inside IR35 contract based Hybrid Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester, Blackpool, Leeds, Sheffield, The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is responsible for welfare, pensions, and child maintenance policy. As a Lead Security Architect, your main responsibilities will be: Essential: Embed security-by-design into all digital solutions, ensuring controls align with the organisation’s Digital Blueprint. Develop and clearly communicate security architecture and risk positions to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Oversee security governance processes, including design approvals and support for Data Protection Impact Assessments.
