About the Role

Cheshire East is seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families within our community. The position offers a competitive rate of £45 per hour (umbrella), and we are looking for a professional who is passionate about providing high-quality support to children with disabilities and their families. As a Qualified Social Worker in our team, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and appropriate interventions. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and community organizations, to promote the well-being of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements and organizational policies. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current Social Work England registration. Demonstrated experience working with children with disabilities and their families. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop effective intervention plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with children and families.
