HEALTH AND SAFE­TY COORDINATOR Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year Job Description: Company Overview Cranswick is a leading food producer in Great Britain, committed to creating authentically made British food through a farm-to-fork approach. We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to support the Site H&S Manager in delivering effective health and safety practices across the Crown Farms Estate in the East Anglian region. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and improving health & safety systems, ensuring compliance with legislation, and promoting a positive safety culture across the estate. Key Responsibilities Support the HS&E Manager in conducting and reviewing Health & Safety assessments in line with current legislation Act as a key point of contact for all Health & Safety matters on site Maintain and implement Health & Safety processes and procedures across the estate Drive and support continuous improvement of the Health & Safety Management System Assist with accident/incident investigations and review risk assessments accordingly Provide guidance and support to management teams on Health & Safety matters Support and maintain the Behavioural Safety Programme Ensure accurate reporting and recording of all H&S issues, complaints, and incidents Assist with KPI data collection and reporting Conduct internal audits and site inspections Promote Health & Safety awareness across all teams Support internal and external H&S meetings Deliver training sessions, inductions, and toolbox talks Participate in an on-call rota alongside the H&S Manager Undertake ad hoc duties in line with skills and experience Additional Responsibilities Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and COSHH regulations Actively participate in risk assessments to reduce workplace hazards Uphold company ethical standards and codes of conduct Complete any required training to support your role and development Skills & Qualifications: NEBOSH General Certificate (essential) – Diploma or MSc preferred Experience working with ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety Management Systems 3–5 years’ experience in agriculture or commercial poultry (desirable, not essential) Strong IT and communication skills Ability to work effectively with small teams and stakeholders Flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and responsibilities Benefits Salary ~£30,000 - £35,000 DOE Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions Share of the profits with our discounted share scheme Holiday purchase scheme Death in service insurance Cycle to work scheme Access to our 'Feed your Wellbeing' platform with discounts for shop Stay up-to-date with future Cranswick vacancies by joining our recruitment mailing list - https://forms.office.com/e/Yvx...
