Concrete Project Manager
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 DOE + Annual Bonus
Position Overview
The Concrete Project Manager oversees and ensures the successful completion of concrete construction projects. This role involves managing self-performed concrete crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and serving as the main contact for project scope.
Responsibilities include overseeing resources, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
Create and execute comprehensive project plans.
Supervise concrete production, placement, and structural work.
Coordinate sequencing with project teams and contractors.
Resource Management
Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
Procure materials and manage logistics for timely delivery.
Monitor equipment utilization and maintenance.
Team Leadership
Lead field crews, vendors, and subcontractors.
Promote safety, accountability, and professionalism.
Provide training and performance oversight to the team.
Client & Vendor Management
Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
Negotiate vendor pricing and manage contracts.
Maintain positive relationships throughout the project cycle.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to quality control standards.
Enforce compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
Uphold safety protocols and company procedures.
Financial Oversight
Manage project budgets and costs effectively.
Monitor profit and loss performance.
Identify and address risks to protect profit margins.
Planning & Reporting
Lead planning and coordination meetings.
Review production reports and metrics.
Make recommendations for efficiency improvements.
Required Qualifications
Preferred degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 7+ years of construction experience, focusing on concrete project management.
Preference for OSHA Safety Certification and/or ACI certifications.
Proficiency in Procore, Autodesk, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
Demonstrated ability to lead in high-pressure environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
