About the Role
We are recruiting a skilled inspection operative to join our team at IBF in Holyhead! <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> <strong>Key responsibilities will include:</strong> <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Responsible for the day-to-day operational functionality and performance of the inspection operations from off-load from trailers to presentation for inspection and reload on to trailers. <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Loading and unloading lorries including manual handling, using roller cages and other MHE <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Undertaking manual and/or electronic reporting requirements as requested <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Take instruction from our on-site partners to support the inspection process <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Updating the PINC Yard Management System following training <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Carry out operational tasks to achieve departmental and site objectives <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Maintain the inspection environment following training <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> • Assist drivers locating bays, support drivers in direction to bays and offices<br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> <strong>The ideal candidate will have:</strong> <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Logistics experience in a large fast-moving environment <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. loading, unloading vehicles. <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Forklift licence/experience ideal. <br><br><br> <br> <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Shift patterns will be any 4/7– 12hrs per day <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> You would be required to work Days and nights 6am-6pm/6pm-6am <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> <strong>To be eligible you need:</strong> <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> NO unspent convictions and be able to pass a basic Criminal Record Check/Disclosure (DBS check) <br><br><br> <br> <br> <br> Ability to provide 3 years referencing contacts and have been resident in the UK for the last 5 years.
