Quality Control Inspector-Manufacturing and Production background

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. The schedule is M-F , 3:30pm-12am, FULL TIME

Main Job Duties:

• Perform in-process, first-piece inspection and final inspection

• Assures that all manufactured parts adhere to customer requirements and procedures

• Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications

• Follow instructions as provided by supervisor

• Adhere to all company safety regulations, including those regarding machine operation

• Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment

• Previous experience with engineered drawings is a plus

• Ability to read blueprints

• ISO 9001 is a plus

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area

• Other duties as assigned

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent is required

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, spec sheets and bill of materials is required

• Basic understanding of sheet metal, welding and machining processes is required

• Basic understanding of ISO requirements is preferred

• Strong organizational skills are required

• Meticulous attention to details is required

• Ability to work overtime when required

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

• Ability to arrive promptly for shift and stand and/or walk for duration of shift is required

• Ability to read, hear, speak, kneel, bend and use a step ladder or stool is required
