Job Description:

Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer in the Aerospace field, specializing in electrical sensors, accelerometers, and other associated electronics for pressure and vibration switches.

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 PM.

As the Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for performing and reforming calibration on accelerometers, pressure, and force sensors.

You will also:

  • Provide day-to-day support to the production team to meet demands.
  • Measure and calculate the value of components.
  • Work with the production assemblers to assign the component values and verify accurate results.
  • Perform all the required tests per traveler or test instructions. This includes drop shock, high G tests, phase response, hermeticity, T.C., bias, sensitivity, etc.
  • Utilize the standard testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency generators, to conduct tests and document results.
  • Train less experienced technicians when needed

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 4:30 PM.

Job Requirements:

  • You have at least an AA degree in electronics from a technical/vocational school
  • You possess at least 1-3 years of Calibration experience, or any combination of education and experience.
  • You are familiar with electronic principles, like Ohm's Law, Resistance, Frequency, AC and DC Voltages, etc.
  • You are familiar with AS9100 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • You know how to read and understand engineering assembly drawings and schematics.
  • You are familiar with stand testing equipment, like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and frequency generators.
