FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a consistently hard working and dedicated and proactive Full-Time working Facilities Supervisor Cleaner to oversee cleaning operations and to ensure high-quality performance within our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in our facilities.
This position is location at the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Weekend Availability needed Wednesday- Sunday shift schedule,
Key Responsibilities:
Cleaning Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, restrooms, and common areas ensuring a high level of hygiene.
- Empty and properly dispose of waste and recycling bins throughout the facility.
- Clean and disinfect common areas such as break rooms, kitchenettes, and meeting rooms.
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces, including doorknobs, light switches, and handrails.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, ensuring that all necessary products are available for use.
Safety Compliance:
- Enforce all internal and external safety policies. Report hazards, injuries, or concerns immediately to the Operations Facilities Manager (OM)
Scheduling Management:
- Understand and communicate the schedule to team members, addressing any scheduling requests or concerns promptly. Adapt positively to changes in scheduling as needed.
Team Oversight:
- Monitor team dynamics, identifying strengths and areas for improvement among technicians. Relay attendance and personnel issues to management as necessary.
Chemical Knowledge:
- Be knowledgeable about stored chemicals, their uses, and safety measures. Prepare go-bags and carts with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) mitigation in mind.
Laundry and Cleanliness:
- Assist with laundry and ensure the cleanliness of locker areas. Communicate any issues regarding locker or equipment cleanliness to management.
Quality Control:
- Take ownership of the team’s performance quality. Address any quality concerns with peers proactively to ensure high standards before final inspections or audits.
Training and Support:
- Set a positive example for staff and train new technicians on all services offered. Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and upper management.
Organizational Leadership:
- Organize the job site by assigning tasks and timelines to technicians, establishing clear expectations, and ensuring effective communication within the team.
Flexibility and Assistance:
- While not required to participate in travel jobs, be willing to assist sister locations when possible and train technicians on various job sites as needed.
Change Management:
- Accept and respond positively to internal and external changes. Communicate issues, comments, and concerns with supervisors as they arise.
