A leading M&E consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead medium-sized projects and play a pivotal role in the development, design, and coordination of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Lead and manage medium-sized projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

• Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing strong relationships and ensuring their needs are met.

• Design and Specification: Design and specify electrical building systems, equipment, facilities, components, and products.

• Technical Development: Develop innovative electrical engineering concepts and solutions, and provide expert technical advice.

• Team Coordination: Coordinate with architects, project managers, and the design office to ensure seamless project execution.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality control standards and adhere to document control methods.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience: Minimum of seven years in the industry with a proven track record in project management and coordination of engineering project services.

• Qualifications: Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status, with a degree in Building Services Engineering or equivalent.

• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage a team. Proficient in using computer-assisted project software for calculations and design.
