About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Data Engineer to play a key role in designing and implementing a cloud data warehouse using AWS Redshift. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the early stage a data transformation journey. Initially, you’ll focus on building and optimising  a Redshift environment. Over time, the role will naturally evolve into a more analytics-focused position, supporting business intelligence, insights, and strategic decision-making through Power BI. If you enjoy building robust data infrastructure and later translating that data into meaningful insights, this role offers the best of both worlds. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimise AWS Redshift data warehouse architecture Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, third-party platforms) Ensure data quality, integrity, and performance optimisation Work closely with stakeholders to define data structures and modelling standards Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports Translate business requirements into analytical solutions Create data models optimised for reporting and self-service BI Provide actionable insights to support decision-making Collaborate with leadership and operational teams on data strategy Required Experience Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role Strong hands-on experience with AWS Redshift Solid SQL skills and experience with data modelling Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines Strong Power BI experience (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design) Understanding of cloud-based data architectures Experience working in a remote or distributed team Desirable Skills Experience with other AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, Glue) Knowledge of data governance and security best practices Experience with CI/CD for data workflows Exposure to stakeholder-facing analytics roles Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we may not be able to respond to all applications.
