Opening: Construction Project Admin/Coordinator
Location: Anchorage, AK
Pay: $20-30 DOE
A growing construction team is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Administrator / Project Coordinator to support daily project operations, field communication, and project documentation. This position is ideal for someone with a strong construction administration background who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively support both field and office teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and track the RFI process from submission through resolution
- Track material orders, submittals, and project documentation
- Create and organize O&M manuals and closeout documentation
- Review project specifications and construction documents
- Assist with project billing and administrative support tasks
- Review daily reports, safety reports, and project logs for accuracy and compliance
- Maintain meeting minutes and distribute project updates
- Review and verify crew timesheets
- Support project managers and field teams with additional project coordination tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of construction administration, project coordination, or project support experience required
- Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
- Knowledge of labor regulations and construction compliance standards
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Leadership mindset with the ability to take initiative and ownership of responsibilities
- Broad understanding of blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Strong computer proficiency with the ability to quickly adapt to new software, systems, and technologies
