About the Role

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Demobilisation Manager x4 (Inside IR35) for a 6 month hybrid contract based out of any MOJ hub with travel required to sites as and when required. Opportunities available are 2 National roles-England & Wales, 1 North England and 1 South England. The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government’s ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public. As a Demobilisation Manager , your main responsibilities will be: Lead the demobilisation of Hard and Soft FM contracts to agreed programme timelines. Ensure service continuity during exit, aligned to mobilisation and readiness of new suppliers. Maintain safe, compliant and operational services throughout transition periods. Apply NEC3 TSC and MoJ contractual requirements during contract exit. Manage supplier performance, end‑of‑term obligations and non‑compliance. Deliver auditable contract closure, including TUPE, assets, data handover and reconciliation. Act as the primary interface with incumbent FM suppliers during demobilisation. Work closely with mobilisation leads, commercial teams, property leads and WSM providers. Manage risks to service delivery and implement contingency plans where required. Escalate issues impacting operational safety or continuity across the secure estate. Provide clear reporting, metrics and updates to senior stakeholders and programme boards. Ensure consistent use of governance controls, trackers and demobilisation plans. Capture lessons learned to improve future FM transition activity. Essential: Experience managing demobilisation or mobilisation of outsourced FM contracts Understanding of NEC3/NEC4 and ideally CCS frameworks FM operational services experience – ideally both Hard and Soft FM Proficient in Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and programme reporting tools (RAID logs, trackers, exit templates) IWFM qualified Desirable: Experience in regulated environments would be useful
