Technical Buyer Expeditor - Ind Automation
Location: Beaverton, OR
Pay: $60,000 – $72,000/year DOE + Overtime Eligible
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Flexible Core Hours | Hybrid flexibility available after training

They are seeking a Technical Buyer / Expeditor who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and enjoys balancing purchasing, vendor relationships, inventory, and project coordination. What You'll Do:
- Process and track purchase orders across a network of industrial suppliers and fabrication partners
- Build strong vendor relationships and proactively manage lead times
- Expedite orders and communicate status updates to internal teams
- Partner with Engineering and Logistics to manage evolving Bills of Material (BOMs)
- Process change orders and update open purchase orders as project requirements evolve
- Coordinate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) and warranty replacements
- Support an ongoing ERP transition and help improve purchasing and material tracking processes
- Monitor inventory levels to balance availability with cost efficiency
- Request quotes, evaluate vendor pricing, and support cost analysis
- Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and supplier data
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure projects remain on schedule

What You Need to Have:
- 2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Expediting, Order Management, Inventory, Logistics, Vendor Coordination, or Inside Sales Support
- Experience working in manufacturing, industrial distribution, MRO, electrical, automation, or technical environments preferred
- Strong computer skills including Excel or Google Sheets
- Experience working in ERP, purchasing, or inventory systems
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
- Exceptional attention to detail
