Long-term care setting | Night shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM | SAP start, ongoing if extended
Rhino Medical is seeking an Iowa licensed Certified Nursing Assistant for an on-site night-shift assignment supporting long-term care residents in a community hospital environment. This role involves hands-on resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living, vital sign monitoring, and responding to resident needs during overnight hours.
Opportunity Details
- Location: Mount Pleasant, Iowa
- Setting: Long-term care within a community hospital environment
- Shift: Nights, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Duration: 2 weeks, with potential for extension
- Schedule: On-site overnight coverage
Clinical Scope
- Assist residents with bathing, grooming, toileting, feeding, hydration, and mobility
- Take and document vital signs and routine observations
- Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests
- Support safe transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant credential
- Active BLS certification
- Active status on the Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
- Long-term care experience
- Night-shift experience
