About the Role

<p><span style="font-size: 11.0pt"><span style="font-family: Calibri , sans-serif"><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><span style="background-color: white"><span><span>We are recruiting for an experienced 2/3 Line Support Engineer to join an expanding organisation. This role is based in Oldham and you will be required to provide technical support to users in a busy financial services environment.</span></span></span></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10.5pt"><span><span><span style="background-color: white">The main duties of the role will include:</span></p> <p><span style="background-color: white">• Responding to and resolving technical issues and queries</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Troubleshooting hardware and software problems</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Installing, configuring and maintaining IT systems and applications</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Supporting users with the use of applications</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Ensuring the security of systems</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Maintaining and developing systems and applications as required</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Monitoring, maintaining and improving system performance</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Providing technical advice and guidance</span></p> <p><span style="background-color: white">Technical Skills Required:</span></p> <p><span style="background-color: white">• A good understanding of Windows operating systems</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Experience of SQL, PowerShell, and Active Directory</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Knowledge of networking technologies</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Experience of deploying and supporting applications</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Experience of working in a financial services environment</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Excellent communication skills</span><br /> <span style="background-color: white">• Ability to work independently and as part of a team</span></p> <p><span style="background-color: white">If this role sounds like the perfect fit for you, please apply now for immediate consideration and interview.
