Job Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults effectively.
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and improve productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Assist in implementing preventative maintenance strategies.
- Source and manage spare parts and tools required for repairs and maintenance.
- Support the team in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- A recognised qualification in engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with mechanical or electrical systems in an engineering environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
