About the Role
Sybilla Technologies designs, builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.
Due to the dynamic growth of our company and further development of our sensor networks, we are looking for a Reliability Engineer who will take ownership of the stability, uptime and long-term reliability of our optical and electronic systems deployed worldwide.
You will ensure that our observatories work reliably in harsh, remote environments and continuously improve their availability, robustness, and serviceability.
Your responsibilities:
Assembling, installing, and integrating optical, electronic, and electrical systems.
Designing and executing testing, verification, and acceptance procedures for production and field deployment.
Diagnosing failures, performing maintenance, and repairs on deployed systems.
Failure analysis (FMEA, RCA) and reliability improvements based on service and operational data.
Participating in design reviews with R&D to ensure reliability, robustness, and maintainability of systems.
Supporting field deployments, servicing, and system acceptance testing at customer sites.
