About the Role
Sirius Staffing is seeking a skilled .NET Developer / Systems Analyst to support enterprise applications for a major energy provider. This role will participate in the full software development lifecycle while also providing production support for critical internal applications used by the Energy Supply team.
The developer will work under the direction of senior team members to design, develop, enhance, and maintain .NET-based applications in a collaborative Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in the full software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, and deployment
Develop and maintain applications using modern .NET technologies
Create and consume RESTful web services and APIs
Write and maintain T-SQL queries and database integrations
Perform unit testing and support quality assurance processes
Participate in code reviews and manage pull requests using Git and Azure DevOps
Provide production support and troubleshooting for enterprise applications
Collaborate with development teams in an Agile/Kanban environment
Required Technical Skills
C# .NET (v8), .NET Core, and .NET Standard
Visual Studio development environment
ASP.NET Blazor, ASP.NET Web Forms, and WinForms
RESTful services using ASP.NET Web API
T-SQL / SQL Server
HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3
Git version control
Azure DevOps
Technical and functional unit testing
Preferred Experience
Experience with Telerik components
Experience supporting vendor applications
Creating or modifying NuGet packages
Understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates
Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues
Experience implementing pull request quality gates (documentation, code coverage, vulnerability checks)
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule in the Tampa / Lutz area
First two weeks fully onsite for onboarding
After onboarding, employees work onsite four days per week
Duration: 9-Month Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Must be local to the Tampa Bay area
