About the role: We have a fantastic opportunity for a Breakfast and After School Club Teaching assistant, who is looking for a long term role in a Primary school in the Preston area on a full time basis. The role is set to commence in September 2026, with shortlisting currently underway. A well-regarded primary school with a strong community feel and a child-centred approach to education. The leadership team is highly supportive and committed to staff wellbeing and development. Key Skills and Attributes: Planning and delivering engaging activities for different age groups Supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development Leading small group activities and structured play sessions Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment at all times Liaising with parents regarding collection and daily updates Recording incidents, accidents and behavioural observations Supporting new staff and volunteers when required Following school policies and safeguarding procedures Pre-requisites: Level 2 Childcare qualification Previous UK school or childcare experience Strong understanding of safeguarding Ability to work independently and as part of a team If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below
