Mechanical Supervisor (Building Services)

We are recruiting for the following permanent role in Bristol

Required: Mechanical Supervisors x3 (& Electrical Supervisors x3)

Your Work Location: Bristol (BS3 area)

Employment: Permanent/full-time

Duration: For the next 5years you will be based on one of the largest new build construction projects in Bristol. The project will potentially grown to 7-8yrs work.

Start date: ASAP

Salary: £55k - £65k p/a

Additional details: pension, 22+8 Holidays, travel allowance

Project: a £200m major new build project - offices & education centre

Qualifications: Trade related CSCS Card (ECS, JIB or Engineering skillcard) & ideally the 2 day SSSTS

Your required experience: You will have previous experience of working as a Supervisor, managing H&S, work flow,

labour and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities to include

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site
• Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure efficient delivery
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations
• Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with specifications
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site
• Assist in resolving any technical or operational challenges

The successful individual

• Proven experience in a Mechanical Supervisor role within the M&E or construction sector
• Strong background working on new build projects
• Experience across commercial sectors (eg offices, education etc) is essential
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures
• Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
