Position Summary:
The Administrative Assistant manages multiple software programs for the department. Provides administrative support to the senior staff of the department. Is responsible for the daily publication and recording of the criminal activity on campus to meet compliance requirements, including proper classification and documentation. Manages general purchasing processes for the department. Handles requests from the public that come into the office in person, via telephone or email, determining if information is protected by federal guidelines. Works with the staff and officers on all Campus Safety publications, including managing databases. Organizes and maintains the general appearance and functionality of the campus safety offices and the related equipment.

Hourly Range:
The hourly range for the position is $23.00-$23.75.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
