About the Role
Management Accountant An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Management Accountant to join a growing, technology-led business operating within the insurance sector. This is a highly visible role within a collaborative FP&A team, offering significant autonomy, exposure to senior leadership, and the chance to make a genuine impact in a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of the end-to-end management accounts process while also supporting the ongoing development of reporting, controls, and financial insight across the business. The Management Accountant Role Key responsibilities will include: Full ownership of the monthly management accounts process across multiple group entities Preparation and review of consolidated management accounts Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting activities Production of Board and Executive reporting packs Delivering insightful reporting across areas including sales activity, customers and R&D Supporting the development of departmental and product-level P&L reporting Assisting with forecasting and budgeting processes alongside the wider FP&A team Driving continuous improvement across reporting, controls, automation and processes Leveraging financial systems and data to improve efficiency and insight Line management, coaching, and development of one team member The Management Accountant skillset The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA or CIMA) with strong management accounting experience and the ability to operate confidently within a dynamic commercial environment.
