The Role

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will inspire students to develop their understanding of technology, programming, and computational thinking through engaging and creative lessons. You will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Computer Science for candidates who are interested and suitably experienced.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4
• Possess strong subject knowledge, including programming and core computing concepts
• Be passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
• Have excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to helping every student achieve their full potential
• Enjoy contributing to the wider life of the school and department

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Computer Science lessons
• Teach topics including programming, algorithms, data representation, and computational thinking
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement

• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards across the department
