About the Role

<p>Anderson Knight Recruitment is working with a well-established organisation based in Glasgow City Centre to recruit an Employee Relations Adviser on a fixed-term contract for up to 9 months.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations expertise to join a collaborative and fast-paced People team. The role offers hybrid working, with 2–3 days per week working from home.</p> <p>The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of employee relations matters while contributing to wider people initiatives and organisational projects.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage a varied employee relations caseload, providing advice and guidance on disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance, and other people-related matters</li> <li>Support the review, development, and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice</li> <li>Provide practical and commercially focused HR advice to managers across the business</li> <li>Deliver coaching, guidance, and training to managers to build confidence and capability in handling people matters</li> <li>Analyse HR trends and employee relations data to identify themes, risks, and areas for improvement</li> <li>Prepare reports and insights to support decision-making and wider people strategies</li> <li>Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to support a positive and inclusive working environment</li> <li>Support employee wellbeing initiatives and contribute to a positive employee experience</li> <li>Assist with organisational change activity and support wider people and culture initiatives where required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience within an Employee Relations or generalist HR role with a strong ER focus</li> <li>Sound knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice</li> <li>Experience managing complex employee relations cases independently</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities</li> <li>CIPD qualification or working towards qualification is desirable</li> </ul> <p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hybrid working with 2–3 days from home</li> <li>Benefits include a generous 45 days annual leave (pro rata)</li> </ul>
