This role is ideal for someone who enjoys setting technical direction, shaping strategy, and guiding teams to deliver intelligent, enterprise‑grade solutions.What you’ll have the opportunity to do as a Data & ML ArchitectDefining and owning data and machine learning architecture across complex programmes Designing scalable cloud‑based data platforms and AI solutions that align to business goals Providing technical leadership across data engineering, ML and analytics delivery Establishing architectural standards around data modelling, governance, quality and security Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into technical roadmaps Mentoring engineers and architects while promoting best practice and innovation About the CandidateThe right Data & ML Architect should have:Strong experience in data architecture, ML architecture or advanced data engineering roles Deep understanding of cloud platforms and modern data architectures Proven ability to design and govern large‑scale data and AI solutions Experience with CI/CD, MLOps and infrastructure‑as‑code approaches Confident communicator able to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences Eligible for SC clearance (5+ years continuous UK residency)  What’s in it for you?Salary from £65,000 to £80,000Hybrid working based in Newcastle25 Days holiday per annumExtensive benefits packageContinuous training provided for career progression To hear more about the Data & Machine Learning Architect role contact Daire McIlhatton at daire.mcilhatton@ansonmccade.com
