Warehouse Manager

<p>We are looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will lead the warehouse team, maintain high operational standards, and ensure productivity, accuracy, and service levels consistently meet company and customer expectations. <b>Previous experience within an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environment is essential for this role.</b></p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring procedures and operational standards are followed.</li> <li>Deliver daily KPIs including productivity, dispatch targets, delivery performance, and picking accuracy.</li> <li>Lead Warehouse Shift Supervisors to ensure efficient and high-quality warehouse operations.</li> <li>Ensure all warehouse operatives are properly trained and arrange retraining where required.</li> <li>Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and Health &amp; Safety across the warehouse.</li> <li>Monitor staff performance, attendance, and timekeeping, including managing holidays and absence.</li> <li>Address performance issues in collaboration with the Head of Operations and HR.</li> <li>Identify and implement improvements to warehouse processes to increase productivity and reduce errors.</li> <li>Manage MHE equipment and ensure appropriate training for all users.</li> <li>Oversee the Market Pick function to ensure products are dispatched professionally.</li> <li>Monitor PPE usage, maintain stock levels, and order cleaning supplies when needed.</li> <li>Manage site by-products in line with environmental policies.</li> <li>Work closely with other departments to improve communication, efficiency, and operational performance.</li> <li>Support the training and development of team members and promote a positive team culture.</li> </ul> <p><i>Additional duties may be required as part of the role.</i></p> <p>Performance Measures</p> <ul> <li>Internal KPIs (picking rate, cost per case)</li> <li>Goods-in efficiency</li> <li>Picking accuracy and discrepancy rates</li> <li>Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Management of off-site storage</li> </ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li><b>Essential: Experience working in an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) warehouse environment.</b></li> <li>Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.</li> <li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li> <li>Good understanding of warehouse operations, KPIs, and Health &amp; Safety standards.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li> <li>Excellent organisational and communication skills.</li> </ul> <p>Schedule</p> <p>Core working hours with flexibility required during peak periods.</p> <p><b>Apply now to join a fast-paced warehouse environment where your leadership and operational expertise will make a real impact.</b></p>
